Robumi Lifestyle was founded with a simple but ambitious mission: to create quality-made essentials that feel good, last long, and are made with respect for people and the planet. We don’t chase trends; we create elevated basics with a clean aesthetic, responsible materials, and honest production. We work only with carefully selected suppliers, maintain small‑batch production to reduce waste, and prioritise comfort and longevity in every design.

Robumi exists for people who want fewer, better items — clothing that not only looks good but also feels good and aligns with a more conscious lifestyle. Every piece is designed to be timeless, minimalist, and durable: essentials you can wear every day, season after season.

The name Robumi is inspired by life and nature in Asia, derived from the Malaysian words roh (spirit) and bumi (earth). It reflects our belief in living in harmony with the planet and doing better with what we have.

A brand inspired to make a difference

Robumi Lifestyle was founded in early 2025, shaped by our years living and travelling in Asia, where we experienced the comfort and practicality of bamboo clothing. Seeing the environmental impact of fast fashion and the rise of synthetic sportswear, we felt motivated to create a brand that empowers people to choose better: fashion that is comfortable, conscious, and built to last. Our purpose is to design eco‑friendly essentials using natural, lower‑impact materials, while raising awareness for slow fashion as an accessible and affordable alternative.

Production and fabric

As part of our mission, we proudly work with a GOTS‑ and SEDEX‑certified manufacturer in India. In our mission, we aim to create a thoughtfully curated and evolving collection of eco‑conscious lifestyle products -  fashion designed to last longer, produced ethically and responsibly, and recognised for its quality, comfort, and style.

At the heart of our collection is high‑quality bamboo apparel, chosen for its naturally soft feel, breathability, and lower environmental impact compared to conventional cotton.

Our appreciation for natural materials

At the heart of our collections lies a deep appreciation for natural materials like bamboo. We love the potential and remarkable and unique benefits of both the bamboo tree and fiber and believe bamboo is one of the answers to a better and more sustainable clothing industry.

With roots in the Netherlands, Malaysia and Singapore, we recognise the incredible potential of unconventional fabrics like bamboo in both warmer and colder climates. From the moment we first wore bamboo, we were captivated by its silky soft feel, breathability and exceptional quality. As our wardrobes remained filled with cotton and polyester, we found ourselves reaching for our bamboo shirts time and time again—drawn by the unmatched comfort and natural benefits of the fabric.
